We've been very happy with our stay at Hotel Grifo. It's 3 star, the rooms are basic but comfortable. They have a small roof terrace area. No restaurant, but a breakfast room. Standard breakfast with good coffee, yogurt, bread, meat & cheese. We skip the sweet choices, although discovered there was chocolate in the granola! Italians love their sweets for breakfast.
Great area, walking distance to Colosseum, Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps etc. Lots of good small shops & restaurants in the area. All of the staff are exceptional, very friendly and very helpful with directions and suggestions of sightseeing & restaurants.
